I read anything and everything
Willow Rose was born in Denmark, and that shines through in a good way in Miss Polly Had a Dolly. The style is so Danish. Having lived in Denmark for over half my life now, the style was like an old friend.
By "so Danish", I mean a style of expository writing, almost like old-fashioned newspaper writing.
It's a murder mystery about a serial killers. Jumping back and forth in time, she lays down the various pieces of the puzzle, and everything fits nicely at the end.
I liked the underlying theme of the dangers of objectification and how trauma can change people.
