I read anything and everything
A hero who fights depression and feelings of inadequacy struggles in his relationship with a hero who fights feelings of abandonment. He needs to feel strong to cope with his illness, and she tries to feel needed and help him, but how do you help someone who doesn't want to be helped? They do figure it out in the end, of course.
There's quite a bit of skip-skip.
As usual, there's a good deal of insight by the author, and I love the fact that she really researches her subject and always explains why she deviated from historical fact.
It's the second book in the series. I didn't "review" the first one, "Proof by Seduction", because it was more standard romance fare (still very good), while this one is much more nuanced.
